Associate Controller/Accounting Specialist (Unanet)
Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a highly capable and experienced Associate Controller/Accounting and Financial Analyst to join our esteemed team. This pivotal role will contribute significantly to our financial management processes and strategic decision-making, ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a robust foundation in accounting and financial analysis, as well as a proven track record of collaborating effectively within US finance teams. Furthermore, expertise with Unanet financial management software and a comprehensive understanding of US tax and accounting regulations will be key assets for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations Support:
- Collaborate on daily financial operations, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Assist in ensuring the timely and meticulous recording of financial transactions while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- ADP and Unanet process support
Unanet:
- Work as an expert in Unanet. Know the modules and process.
ADP:
- ADP knowledge and integration.
- Support payroll process.
Cash Flow Management:
- Contribute to monitoring cash flow and provide strategic recommendations for optimizing working capital.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in preparing precise and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to offer valuable insights into our financial performance and trends.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Work on generating ad hoc financial reports to support informed decision-making by senior management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Participate in the annual budgeting process, collaborating closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets.
- Contribute to providing financial projections and forecasts, grounded in market trends and operational performance.
Compliance and Internal Controls:
- Support the establishment and maintenance of robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Audit Coordination:
- Assist in coordinating and managing external audits, ensuring the timely submission of all required documentation.
Strategic Financial Insights:
- Collaborate with senior management to provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to drive strategic planning and business growth.
Business Analysis:
- Participate in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, acquisitions, and other business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, and reporting within US finance teams.
- Expertise in using Unanet financial management software.
- Expertise in using Unanet enhances the candidate's ability to streamline financial processes, optimize resource management, and ensure accurate financial reporting, making them an invaluable asset to our team.
