Job Description:
The Data Exchange Program fulfills one of the top priorities of the Commonwealth's behavioral health strategic plan, which is to deliver transactional and secure statewide behavioral health data. This position will be the data analyst supporting the project to stand up a new Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) for the Agency that will form the foundation of the data exchange. This position will work with the Data Warehouse Architect and business analysts to create a data dictionary for each data source. Depending on the skills of the individual, this role may expand to assist with other data analysis needs for the program, and the engagement may be extended. This role is required to be on-site two days per week in the client central office downtown. Daily parking is available for a fee.
Should have prior proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst and have technical understanding of data models, database design development ,and SQL queries. MUST be proficient with MS Excel. The candidate should have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Able to use tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Excel charts to represent data in a visual format that is easy to understand.
