Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, TSO, and JCL.
- Write and maintain JCL scripts for batch job processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe application issues.
- Optimize and improve existing mainframe code for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
- Assist in testing, deployment, and ongoing support of mainframe systems.
- Handle additional related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on experience in COBOL, CICS, TSO, and JCL.
- Proven track record of mainframe application development and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CA-IDEAL and CA Datacomm.
- Previous work in a higher education or large enterprise environment.
