Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for projects and initiatives.
- Assist in formulating scope, objectives, and project plans based on business needs and process reviews.
- Conduct research and evaluations of business problems and their relationship to technology solutions.
- Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and improve results.
- Support the preparation of project documentation, including requirements, workflows, models, cost-benefit analyses, and recommendations.
- Provide technical and analytical support to project teams and business partners.
- Coordinate activities at the departmental level to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay informed on industry practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements within the health insurance sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or related role.
- Familiarity with health insurance industry processes, terminology, and regulations preferred.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and requirements gathering.
- Basic knowledge of technology solutions (e.g., CRM, claims systems, or healthcare IT platforms).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Ability to work independently and under general supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in health insurance, healthcare services, or payer systems.
- Exposure to regulatory compliance standards (HIPAA, ACA, CMS guidelines).
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
