Overview:
We're seeking an accomplished and seasoned Security Architect to join our team in India. As a Security Architect, you'll be pivotal in crafting and implementing security solutions to safeguard our organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. In this role, you will work closely with counterparts in the USA, serving as a key liaison to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and collaborate on global security strategies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Designing Security Architecture: Develop and uphold enterprise security architecture frameworks, models, and principles to guide the design and implementation of security solutions. Define security requirements and specifications for systems, networks, and applications.
  2. Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and weaknesses in our systems and infrastructure. Develop risk mitigation strategies and security controls to address identified risks. Implementing Security Solutions: Lead the design, deployment, and integration of security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption solutions, identity and access management systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) platforms.
 
  1. Incident Response and Management: Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures. Lead the investigation and response to security incidents, breaches, and cyber-attacks. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to contain and mitigate security incidents effectively.
 
  1. Security Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance and enhance security posture.
 
  1. Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams on security-related projects and initiatives. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of security awareness and accountability across the organization.
 
  1. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies. Evaluate and recommend new security solutions and enhancements to strengthen our security posture and mitigate evolving risks.
 
  1. Tools: Must have knowledge of latest tools and technologies like – Sailpoint Okta, Microsoft


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related technical field required. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Strong technical background in networking, cybersecurity, and information security technologies. Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, encryption, and authentication systems.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex security projects from concept to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks, analyze security requirements, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies through continuous learning and professional development.
